Made with Ultrafractal 4.02 only - no "pp" or "extras", except kanji characters made with Photoshop.
Seems most times I get wrapped up in a fractal I end up with a TON of layers and paint a "picture". This one I laid out and conceptualized totally BEFORE I made the image with UF. I'd seen a painting with this vibe (but it didn't have the "mountain", stylized "sun", Mandy "lake" or fbm "clouds") and colors and thought it would be neat to try and make something like it with fractals. It really isn't so much "fractal" in that it doesn't have that quasi-chaotic or spiral vibe but all of the parts are separate fractal layers with masks or transparency in the gradients. Maybe a better "label" for this might be an "Ultrafractal image". Anyhow, hope you guys enjoy looking at it and I sure do appreciate everyone who stops by for an encouraging word. C-ya! Rick "-) Woohoo! I just saw that this received a DD! Probably the highest honor a piece could receive at any of the large art galleries on the net. I'm dancin' on cloud nine...heck, cloud TEN -Thanks!! ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! It's a lot of fun getting lost for hours in the math, then you see something like Fuji-san by ~Rykk and it hits you, you're not just changing tangent to cosine, or square rooting a value, you're making art. This just isn't a fractal, it's one of the most well crafted pieces of art I've ever seen created in the fractal medium. (Suggested by ~Clovdyx and Featured by `Aeires) |
